About the presenters
Dr. Roberts is a board-certified clinical and anatomic pathologist sub-specializing in gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology and President of the Anatomic Pathology Division Sonic Healthcare USA.
Dr. Roberts was formerly with ProPath as the President and Chairman of the Board since 2011, led the company through a successful re-organization in 2016, and was named as its first Chief Executive Officer in 2017.
Dr. Roberts also serves on the Scientific Advisory Board at Reveal Biosciences, the Gastroenterology Expert Panel at Allakos, the Thought Leadership Initiative at Leica Biosystems, the Board of Directors of Morningside University, a panelist on the Panel of National Pathology Leaders, and has served as a laboratory industry consultant for Glenview Capital Management. Prior to joining ProPath, he was an Assistant Professor of Pathology and Director of the Residency Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Dr. Dash is a board certified pathologist recognized worldwide for his laboratory informatics expertise. He is co-chair of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) Anatomic Pathology and active on a number of national committees including serving on a number of technology related committees for the College of American Pathologists.
He is director for laboratory informatics for Duke University Health System in Durham NC. Dr. Dash has over 26 years of diverse experience in Pathology, with a focus on breast cancer diagnostics, cytopathology, and laboratory informatics. Dr. Dash is American Board of Pathology certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology, Cytopathology and Clinical Informatics.
Professor Lee graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine in 2002 and is a Clinical Professor at Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH). She specialized in hepato-pancreatic biliary pathology, renal pathology, and bone & soft tissue pathology.
In Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH), Prof Lee manages the pathology department’s laboratory automation and computerization system since 2010. She is also on the Korean Society of Pathologists (KSP) committee board as Information Director.
Prof Lee led the digital pathology project at SNUH in 2018, where she introduced a digital pathology system for primary diagnosis; a first in Korea. Besides heading the digital pathology project at SNUH, Prof Lee is passionate about advocating the value of digital pathology, automation of pathology workflow for primary diagnosis and establishment of data-pipeline for computational pathology.
Luke Restorick has a Master’s Degree in Engineering from UC Berkeley and a Management of Technology certificate from Haas Business School.
