Applications Consultant – South West, Leica Biosystems
Charlotte Gray is an Applications Consultant at Leica Biosystems in the UK, specializing in advanced staining with a particular interest in life science applications. Charlotte has a decade of experience after graduating from the University of Nottingham with a BSc (Hons) Medical Science degree. She started her career as an HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist in the NHS working in Histology and was the lead for her trust’s involvement in the 100,000 Genomes Project. Charlotte then worked at the University of Birmingham as Tissue Services Manager and was responsible for managing a research Histology lab, implementing multiplex IHC/ISH, and contributing to digital analysis. During her time at the university, she completed her MSc in Genomic Medicine degree. Charlotte has interests in life sciences, translational medicine, and the development of molecular assays in these fields.
